Framework for Induction Hardening Parameters Optimization of Sintered Iron Alloy by using Intelligent Techniques

چکیده

This paper provides a framework for optimization of Induction Hardening parameters by using Intelligent Techniques. Heat Treatment of Iron Alloy is carried out for improving Mechanical and Metallurgical properties like Ductility, Toughness, Hardness, and Tensile Strength etc. These properties play a important role for selection of material in Manufacturing Field. Induction Hardening on iron alloy gives improved Hardness with a limited case depth on outer periphery. The optimized parameters are power potential, scan speed and quench flow rate etc. These parameters depend on material specifications and properties like density. The material selection for this experiment requires optimization. The alloying elements like Cr, Mg, Cu and Mn etc. are used. The compaction and sintering are primary operations that enhance properties like density, tensile strength. The best results for Induction Hardening parameters optimization fully depend on the framework suggested that gives us the complete guidelines for obtaining the optimal results with the help of Intelligent Techniques like TLBO, PROMETHEE etc.
